Community Poll: Keep ChatBox or Remove ChatBox?

We have been debating whether or not we should keep the ChatBox on iOSGods for a while now. Before rushing to any conclusion, we as staff felt it would be best to put it to a vote by the community.

If you want to keep ChatBox, comment below why you want it to stay on iOSGods. State some positives.

If you want the ChatBox to get removed, comment below why you want it gone. State why you wouldn't miss the ChatBox. 😧

Remove the chat box but in return give us a feature in ignored user that allows us to block a person from seeing our content and texts, thanks keep the good work!

Ever since i ve became part of the iosgod community i have never used the chat box i only pm the admin for any issue i ve encountered in the past by the way they have been very supportive in that part. Anyways weather you take it out or leave it i really dont mind i do like then third though bout moving it to discord. Good luck and thanks for the awesome work the team of iosgods is making with the whole website and projects 👍🏻✌🏻💪🏻

Pros of Chatbox : 

1) it's in the site directly. You can continue chatting at a moment's notice and do other stuff at the same time. Not as easy in discord (eg. Safari multitasking)

2) It's easier to weed out ban evaders as compared to Discord

3) It's honestly much better than most stuff Discord can offer, and there's no nonsense about notifications and stuff. The backend can also be modified faster by the team as compared to Discord. 

4) No chance of random server bans which would effect the entire site 

Pros of discord:

1) You can add some functionality. Removing CB would likely make the main page load faster.

2) Easier to pin multiple messages or notify everyone about a certain message

Cons of Chatbox:

1) People ask help and support etc. This is going to happen in discord as well.

Cons of discord:

1) Ban evaders: People can make multi accounts much more easily in discord.

It's easier to implement changes we want to see to Chatbox than to Discord. The only functionality that Discord really has which we need is use of bots to auto-mute/auto-pay users in certain cases

discord is anti hacks itll get reported and shut down by trolls every day just stick with chatbox
