Yes, also Saurik made it sure that most of his work won't be compatible with Electra and he doesn't care about it. His jailbreaking method apparently does not use the daemon. Few days ago he pushed an update to cydia which broke cydia in all electra devices i'm pretty sure it gonna happen again when he release substrate as substitute is just a fork.

failed to fetch apt.saurik.com/dists/ios/144.00/main/binary-iphoneos-arm/packages posix: connection refused 

some index files failed to download . they have been ignored or old ones used instead
