it will work, I'm using an old version 5.1.3 becuase it is the only version I can use on Electra jailbreak so I'm doing the dailies pvp with it and I have a very good teams so single player quests and coop is not a problem right now

that thread is about IPAs the one I wrote is about how to spoof the game version to keep using the hack until it is updated

I know about installing an older app from Itunes, but how can I install the one with the hack? or do I just need to download the hack in the thread and install it the usual way with impactor, and then change the plist?

if you are talking about side loading yeah you need to install the one with the hack and then use winzip to modify the info file
