[Need help] Layer style colours are lighter than selected.

In the picture above, the stroke was supposed to have the same colour as the background. It came out lighter than desired. I have no clue what could be the problem, and I would appreciate any help. Thanks.

I think you need to change the color you are using, instead of cmyk color, use rgb. Reply again if you dont know how to switch between those two and I'll gladly help you :)

I tought so too, but that's not it.

What is your layer mode? Set it to normal and full opacity (100%).
