Pro tip, look at YouTube tutorials.

I would say start with Photoshop because in the long run it'll be extremely worth it. There's plenty of photoshop tutorials on YouTube which can really help you start your career.

You can get Photoshop CC from kickass.to

You can get eBooks that teach you the essentials of Photoshop in kickass.to as well.

Or if you'd like, start with Illustrator. It deals with a lot of shapes thus making it easier to learn. For me anyways.

Overall, don't start learning a program like Photoshop or Illustrator with a "big" project. Something small. Get familiar with the wand tool, burn tool, the brushes, etc etc. Once you get familiar with the tools in the program, then move on to try higher level things like manipulating pictures and such.

Good luck ^_^

Bro, if you're not familiar with the Adobe products yet, go for GIMP or CorelDraw. Best tools ever :)

Similar functions and abilities, so when you advance to Photoshop, it'll be quite easy. For Mac, if you don't want to use Photoshop, use Sketch. Undoubtedly great!
