It would if the tweak isn't designed to restore the files or whatever it changed back to default upon uninstallation.

From dealing with this in the past you need to find the Upscale settings file which has the resolution set in a text file.

You can access it from a computer you have already trusted before so you have access to it with iFunBox.

You can try also doing the other safe mode which what you need to do is when you boot up your device, jailbreak it, then when it is booting into the jailbreak hold the volume up button to boot into safe mode. Upscale changes the system resolution or something like that so even in safe mode it still is enabled (as custom resolution). If the other safe mode works where it is not the crash safe mode but the one you hold volume up on it might not be enabled but idk, give it a try.

You need to be careful when using Upscale, it is the one thing that can screw up your device if you don't know what you're doing. Always double or triple check you are using a resolution that will fit the screen, other people have used for that device and is suitable for your GPU to run it without becoming unstable at higher resolutions that it can't handle.

If you had apple file conduit 2 you could have modified the file back into what it was before, from what I have heard, there is also a method with Ibackupbot but I'm not sure bout that

Dude upscale has the resolutions switched up... the smallest number was supposed to go in first... ALWAYS

So should've place 1536 x 2048 for upscale to work
