I guess , but when I bought this , I asked apple store to install latest sierra and give , and sierra only adds this 'sorage overview' thing so idk :shrug:

You dont need one :)Unlike windows , from somewhere or the other you get popups/browser redirects and bullshit , windows defender is lame , doesnt even do a shit to the virus ikr , people are like windows is cheap , but then its mantainence costs is high , even after malwarebyes removal , malware on windows wins

Yes, all OS have viruses. The only difference is Windows viruses are very common, while macos viruses are a handful.

Ive used mac for last 9 years. Found a lot of win viruses over the years but 0 mac viruses. Thats cuz windows is easy to get.

everyone and their grandmother has or uses a windows. Whereas 1 in 100 people use a mac. The maker would rather infect the 99 than that 1 user. And therefore, we get windows more virus prone than mac.

Did you know that despite these AVs viruses can still get in?

AV is made by the same people who distribute those viruses. They leave out certain viruses and then make a show of updating lists

I don't know who you base those facts off, but you must ask some random people for the 'best' AV.

My school computer lab uses 3 separate AV systems, yet it has more viruses than anywhere else i know. They use Norton, Kaspersky and McAffee. I use malwarebytes and its good but I still have problems sometimes.

I ALWAYS have to reformat my pen drive when I use it in school computers. Nowadays i just d/l from my email

Except for the fact that we use AVs to make sure we dont get viruses whatever we do?

If I were using 3 AVs, I would expect that I could do anything (nearly) on a computer without getting viruses.

Therein lies the problem. I can do most of anything on a mac with just 1 AV to weed out the rare macOS viruses while you have to be careful about every program you download
