Help/Support iPad air 2 shutting down after using Pangu client

It failed to boot into JB state

Your method didn't work but did different.

Apple logo > Loading icon > Apple logo > non JB state again.

It seems like it's the timing mate , you need to wait on each screen after you tap , so tap wait , we wait to let the app load fully before we tap again to request another action , keep doing it just make sure you wait the full 20 seconds , get a clock or watch to help you get spot in 20 seconds.

Only other thing I can think of is that you're Pangu App certificate is no longer valid , remove the Pangu App and reinstall a new fresh Pangu with a new certificate.

1) Toggle notification on/off for pangu app

2) Hard reset by pressing home/power buttom

3) Airplane mode, remove all wires (like charging cord, it never works while charging for me)

4) Reply if it worked or not

Didn't work. It just shut down the device and I had to turn it on

It is normally for iPad Air 2. For me use assistive touch to lock the screen don't use power button and if it on loading screen then it is loading screen for power off then restart so it normally but try using assistive touch.

It has 1 year certification. Do I really have to?

I tried waiting for 2-3 minutes each tap

It has to be exact 20 sec?

You need to downgrade Readline to 6.0 in order to get it to work

You're device boots to a non JB state , that's good do not use Cydia eraser at this point.

Personally I would keep trying with the "count 20" fix , once I was sat there for hours doing it , my head was gone thought I'd lost my JB , I then went and asked Dutch what was going off and he advised me to do the "count 20" fix , now I didn't do it first time , it was hard to get it bang on but after another 6/7 attempts boom it worked.

You're device has no issues other than it can not execute the jailbreak , it's failing to process the boot into , this is the Pangu app not you're device.

Redline will stop the Pangu app from executing the JB , don't know why it stops the app from processing the boot into , do you have anyway of removing said redline with iFunbox ?

Cydia won't open untill you run the Pangu app

For that he needs SSH access. For that you need jailbreak. For that Pangu needs to work. Apparently, readline 7.0 breaks /bin/sh/ which disables ALL jailbreaks (not just iOS 9).

Have you tried booting into no-substrate mode? Maybe that can help?

There is apparently an alternative method :

1) Open pangu app click button

2) Home buttom

3) Kill pangu app from appswitcher

4) Lock screen

5) When notification comes up, unlock

May or may not work but hope it does

After locking screen. Nothing shows. Then device reboot
