GFX [Suggestion] SOTW

Hi

Pretty sure most GFX'ers here know what an SOTW is and I was thinking why not have it here? I mean I know its kinda irrelevant seeing that this forums was made for ios hacks and w/e but we have a GFX section, a GFX team and more other aspiring GFX'ers like me and why not have it for fun?

For those who do not know what an SOTW is, it means Signature of The Week, its a weekly event where people submit their signature entries that corresponds to the contest theme and people the "public" members or anybody else votes for the best signature. Its a good way to display people's art where everybody (even ones who do not know GFX) can participate and vote for the best one.

Also, can't find a suggestion section so really sorry for posting it here.

No clue what SOTW was before this

And maybe monthly versions instead of weekly. Because that'll be too much to keep track of. Plus, it does give the attention. But I mean it's not really a competition, I feel like the lesser skilled would feel kinda unfair

We used to have SOTWs (you can search for them), but they stopped cause nobody entered and there weren't any prizes to motivate artists.

Monthly would be nice, Yeah technically not a competition since this ain't a GFX forum, all for fun tho. Maybe some small prize would probably make other people join in and at least, would make the "lesser" skilled maybe kick in and practice even more.

Good way to have other people who don't do GFX appreciate art and at the same time participate in the event by voting (also including why they voted for that entry)

Holy hell, I just did and yeah, I mean why not try it again. I mean probably make like a minimum or 3-5 entries and have the GFX team enter theirs to fill it in. And have like one person to take care of posting and everything. It'd be nice to have again tho. Give this forum a little more GFX competitive spirit.

Just needs a little more advertising since nobody cares about the GFX here, maybe make like a small section on the home page displaying the winner like the way we did back in the gaming forum I was working with.
