General Making an App

Hey all,

 

I'm wanting to create an App that will be used to track something I collect. Simple app, different pages for different collections and just an iOS style toggle to mark that I have the item.

 

Can anyone give me some pointers where to start, what to use, etc,

I have Xcode, and I am a registered Dev, I have one app on the App Store but it was created by a 3rd party company. Their charge was £10,000 (no my decision to pay it, its a charity I am a board member for) but I'm looking to learn and try and make my own app.
