General [Poll] Should admins and mods send PMs when topics are closed/deleted?

I'm sure that many of us in the community have had this happen to us. We post a topic and couple hours later, sometimes even days later, it gets locked without a PM given to the topic creator on why the topic was locked or deleted. Most of us are offline when this happens, hell, some of us are even online when it happens and we don't even notice. Now, I have no problem with the way the Admins think. I'm sure they have good reasons to lock or delete the topic. But the fact that they don't even send a PM that says why the topic was locked/deleted is just f**ked up. Many of us don't know why the topic was locked or deleted in the first place. Sure we could ask why it was locked or deleted in shoutbox, but the rules say "the shoutbox isn't made for support" even though it's the fastest way to get support. Plus how would we know who the person was that deleted it? With half of the admins/moderators not talking in the shoutbox it makes it hard to find out who locked/deleted it. If they were to send PMs saying why the topic was locked/deleted, many of us would have the chance to fix the topic or, if it was deleted, post it again but fix it. Basically all that I am asking is for the admins and moderators to send PMs when topics are closed/deleted. It really doesn't take that long to send a PM, especially if you were to use the template below. Well this makes no sense as most topics locked are duplicates and everyone locked has "already posted, locked" commented onto the post and then it's locked so I don't think pm'ing someone is needed.

I think more people should be using search more often and actually looking for things that are posted before copying others topics and wasting admins time having to lock all the topics. Win win for all

Not really. It would waste all of our (staff time) and I'm sure that they already post the comment of why it's locked etc.

Also, most of the topics would be locked, because it's outdated, duplicated, stealing credits or changed passwords. So you expect us to fill out it for every topic that we have to lock?

Just consider that we have maybe 10 staff vs 380,822 members. With total posts of 1,148,778 so maybe around hundreds thousand threads.

Most of the reasons are..

1) Spambot

2) People changed passwords for accounts

3) Hack is outdated, yet others still post saying that it's not working BUT nobody reports it.

4) Didn't use the search bar to see if it already posted.

5) Repost the thread without credits or leeching

6) Posting cheats that he/she didn't make.

7) Making thread for each update but didn't report the old one to be locked (Like PokemonGO Bot now)

8) Outdated or that the trick doesn't work anymore and nobody report it

9) Or just simply useless topic

YOU WANT US TO SEND PMs TO EACH TOPIC's MAKER TO LET THEM KNOW WHY?????

What if they starting to pick a fight with staff like "Well this x person didn't give credits; I found it first; mine is much better that that member, etc"

I'm sure that they (staff) would get fed up with those kind of PM and quit being staff. Also, staff rank is not easy to get

Let say this x member who posts SO MANY threads in account section or cheats. Every of their thread is outdated. So, we have to send PM for every topic. Waste of f***ing time
