Hello jailbreakers, as you know a jailbreak for iOS 9.2 - iOS 9.3.3 has been released, but with this release users are getting this error :

Here is how to fix it:

1. Add the source http://coolstar.org/publicrepo/ to your list of sources

2. Next, install "Stashing for iOS 9.2 - iOS 9.3.3" from cydia

And thats it, close cydia and open it, and your error should be fixed.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sometimes that method doesn't work so heres what you can do too:

If you are doing this on your iPhone/iPod/iPad

You need any sort of File browser (iFile, Filza, iFunBox, etc.)

Open your file browser and go back to the first page and scroll down to the file .cydia_no_stash

What you want to do is rename it to .cydia_no_stash-

save it and open cydia, it will say preparing filesystem and do what its supposed to do. After its done cydia should be working like normal.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you are using a computer:

Go to Cydia and download: Apple File Conduit 2, which gives raw file access over a usb.

Connect to your computer and open up iFunBox (recommended), go to Raw File System, look for the file .cydia_no_stash and change it to .cydia_no_stash-

Eject/Disconnect your device and you should be set to go after cydia prepares its file system

Hope this helped !

Don't do this,

This makes cydia restash /Applications/, which breaks Reset all content & Settings among others. It is also an outdated and frankly horrible way to do things

Instead, you should Install Stashing for 9.2-9.3.3 on CoolStar's repository (https://www.coolstar.org/publicrepo/)

what do you mean breaks reset all content and settings? and the method you described is the first method in the topic

the changing filename worked perfectly for me

It breaks reset all content and settings because renaming the file causes cydia to stash /Applications/

but it is the only fix for the people that couldn't install stashing for 9.2 - 9.3.3 like me, it would give me the buffer_write error. it worked fine and nothing went wrong I don't see the problem.

The proper solution would have been to install "Stashing for iOS 9.2-9.3.3" by CoolStar, instead of stashing /Applications/ (which can suddenly face consequences without warning), he stashes all the tweaks, preferences, and cydia applications installed on the device by Debian installation

again like I said, it wouldn't let me install stashing for 9.2 - 9.3.3, the only solution was the second one.
