I just don't understand the black part in the window

The one on the right. It's just black.

Oh yeah. I used an image that portrayed the night sky. The other Multicoloured, Galatical Looking part is actually a Different planet. I also noticed that the Margin is not particularly Circular. Maybe it's a Crooked planet?
