Ok folks here we are. It is the verge of a not so new world. Tablets and Smart Phones versus Computers. What has kept you from making the move at least 80% of the time?

With the creation of a lot of different cloud services, i.e. Microsoft Office 365, Invoicing, File Storage, and a great number of others almost everything is able to be done on a tablet whether it is an iPad or a Droid. So what is keeping you to your ancient concept computer? That is of course not including the gaming, which is also mostly replaceable by the virtual or console systems of today...I don't know that my wife has actually used a computer in a year save the once every 3 to 6 months having to fill out a government questionnaire or something that requires a computer. Other than that it has been her Droid Smart Phone to do everything else...What say you?

I have a tablet also. iPad Mini 2. Use it only for hacking though. :D

Hahaha, funny you say that; I use mines for just about everything including that. There's nothing more...satisfying than collecting packets from my neighboring peeps on an unsuspecting mobile device, lol, gotta hand it to P&D~. Although I have some old stuff like Ettercap, Slowloris, LOIC, Tor's Hammer, dangerous nmap combinations, etc., I never had the balls to use them on anything significant, ya know like scanning government ports and the like. xD

I play games on Desktop/Laptop. My phone is for music and work, iPad for portable gaming.

Oh yes Micky, portable gaming for me goes solely to my iPad. It's too bad I don't have a computer of my own just yet, as typing code on the iPad gets tedious tied in with the fact that iOS is horrible at handling textareas.

For me tablets are too big and not as useful as computers.

For me they are just a redudant device. I use a phone when I need to be mobile or a computer when I can be at one place for a longer period of time.

So tablets for me are nowhere where I would see them as useful.
