General CleanMyMac: Must have or unnecessary?

Hey everyone! 

I’m thinking of getting CleanMyMac, but am still not fully convinced it’s something truly needed on a Mac.

Do you use it? Has your Mac been performing better with it?

Also if you use it, do you know if CleanMyMac X is available somewhere or I should just get it legit.

its not exactly about performance for me, but yeh its dns flushing has saved me a couple of times. i usually use it to clear off junk, as my storage is tight at 128 GB

I think it's just like a better CCleaner.

It's great if you think you need it. I like it for managing startup items and stuff which you can't access normally, it's also good for clearing space every once and a while.

You can also get it from macbed.com for free if you like.

I've been using macbed since you suggested it a couple years ago, i'll give that a try too.

Oops haha. I used macbed for a short period of time. Found nmac a while later 😛 dk if they have the same amount of cracked apps but they upload to 1fichier and one more website that's actually quite decent. No limited dl speeds

Yo thanks a lot for the advice and websites. I’ve been using Mac for the past 5 years so I forgot about CCleaner. I did use it on my Windows laptop before, so it’s good context. I remember it didn’t necessarily make the machine faster, still kind of useful.
