What do you suggest? 1TB ram? It's not like I can afford all of this shit, yet, anyway..

8GB should always be the min amount of ram you get. Anything below and you won't get the performance that you want.

I have an 8GB computer and a 4GB computer, the 8GB performs a lot smoother

I did build my computer but I am no expert by any means. Although I would just like to point out that what makes a "gaming computer" a "gaming computer" is mostly the video card. Now i know that yes the processor, the power supply, and the rest of the system are of course very important to the overall functionality of the system, but I would recommend spending a few extra dollars on the video card. Now of course don't take what I say to the extreme and dump all of your money into the video card because then you'll experience very bad bottle-necking. Also, take in mind that current computer games have seen in increase use in the video graphics memory. So if your budget allows it I would recommend trying to up that 2GB to 4GB just a suggestion. A very helpful site that I used a lot when building my computer was https://pcpartpicker.com/ they have builds already set up in certain price ranges to make it easy for you. I would recommend taking a look at that site to get a feel of what else is out there.

Of course, I would like to get a 4gb graphics card, but it's unfortunate that they don't have anything I could use. They only have 2gb, for some reason.

What a shame...

Yes indeed I used to have 4GB becuase that's all that I thought that I needed but once I upgraded to 16 it was a whole different world everything runs a lot smoother and I can have a ton of applications running without any drop in performance whatsoever.

Ah, if so, wanna donate 100$ to me, so I could afford 16gb RAM? :3

Remember to not spend so much on stuff that isn't necessary.

Obviously, the ideal graphics card would be a GeForce 970/980 considering that it's a lot cheaper than a Titan/ X and it performs way better for the price.

But looking at the one you choose, it'll cost you about double the money. But better than paying $1000 for a Titan, so...

Ram is also very important because the more you have, the more fluent the programs will run. So 8GB is a nice choice.

Storage wise... Since you're on a budget, a 1TB HDD sounds like a good choice, but if you really wanna go all out, a 500MB SSD with a 2-3TB external HDD would be great

Just depends where you put your money at

Or put those extra $100 on a graphics card

That's the reason I'm only getting a setup like this. If I had any more money, I'd spend it on either GPU or CPU.

8GB is enough for gaming. Just make sure it's DDR3. :)
