IM BACK Hey! My name is Lily... At July 2015 (My birthday is 2nd July), One day, when i came back from training.. i play a lot of football like everyday for 2-3 Hours and sometimes more.. Lets just say I'm a active girl.. Im only 16, So when i came back from training went home and i was just laying in bed and playing my mac.. Then Suddenly i had a chest pain.. i was hurt but not that bad! Said to my self "Nah its nothing" Worst thing i ever said to myself, I continued playing football but not that hard as i use to... then the pain goes then suddenly comes then goes... then i waited 1-2 week also the worst thing i ever did.. My pain got worse when i was ready to go to school.. So i told my dad and we straight went to the local hospital.. When we did we requested for a X-Ray, And then after all that happened.. Went back to school because apparently i had to wait 1-2 days for the results! But then at break time, my dad came to my school and said i had to go to the hospital as soon as possible.. I was really shocked.. Then after arriving to the hospital, we met the doctors.. obviously they have seen the X-Ray and called my dad to get me to hospital asap so then, The doctors said i had a Lung collapsed tbh i didn't know what that was.. Never heard of it.. They showed me the X-Ray and it was a pretty big one.. Thats why i was always coughing and my back would hurt for some reason.. then after the doctors said i had that, i was really shocked and went red.. and said that i needed to have a tube inside me to get the air back to the lungs.. they asked many questions like "do you smoke"? i actually did smoke but like 2-3 months but then i quit.. but i said no because my dad was there.. and he doesn't know that i smoked before, or ever.. Then i asked what was gonna happen to me and why has this happened to me.. They responded.. "You will need to stay at the hospital until its fully back up" and that "You might of had it because for this age that your "active, play sports.." i mean yeah i told them everything like how much time i spend playing football .. They said it normally happens to young active fit people.. i was like whats life then? Lets skip to the part when i needed to have an operation..Obviously they made me go to sleep.. then after that all happened, because i forgot that i would need a tube.. when i woke up i just had a tube in my left lungs.. yeah i forgot to mention it was in my left lungs.. So yeah when i woke up god i was in so much pain... I had to stay in the hospital for like when my lungs fully went back up.. it was boring the food was alright but all i had in my IPad.. But the lovely nurses gave me a laptop, The nurses did their best to make me happy and well not bored.. Lemme skip a bit again.. So everything was fine, expect the times when i needed to go to the toilet it was really hard! , They kept on requesting X-Rays so they can see the results and if its improving.. but as that if you keep on doing it, its bad for you.. So then yeah after like 5 days they did a X-Ray again then it was improving and then day 6 they saw the X-Ray they did again and saw that my lungs were filled and all good! Then the doctor or someone came to me to take the tube omg it was so painful because the tube was stuck in my lungs and he just yanked it out.. Then i had to stay for one more day.. just to make sure.. I sure did miss a lot of school.. Then i had to go to Kings up in London where the specialists and tell me why this happened.. God! After the next day i got to go home missed my family tbh, Then had to rest for 2-3 months i really missed playing football.. but then 2-3 months i got to play again!! Then i had a appointment in Kings London as that i don't live in London.. Met the specialist we were talking about all the things like how am i doing etc then i was worried when he told me.. "As that you had a lung collapsed there is a chance of happening again".. But then if it did happen again he would possibly do a operation where he sticks my lungs to my ribs.. I was really happy that i was discharged! ... Yeah.. Then Happy new years! 2016.. I was in School just with my mates yes most of them smoke(most of the boys do but not a lot of the girls do) .. In January around 15th or somewhere.. As that we had a long break and just came from school.. I was heading to my class.. Suddenly my back and my chest started to hurt and felt breathless.. So i panicked and went to the nurse in school.. As that she knows the past and know that i had a lung collapsed.. She called the ambulance, I was still in shock and was panicking well it didn't seem that i was panicking but inside me i was shitting myself.. as that i know what will happen .. And when the ambulance came they did some checks on me... they responds.. "It doesn't seem like you have an lung collapse it seems all fine i can't see no difference".. i was like oh okay i did say that i was a bit breathless.. but they response "Just wait till tomorrow and if you still have pain and breathless go to the hospital" Ok cool.... And waited 2-3 days still went to school i have no idea why.. lmao, then i told that the nurse it was getting worse and told her to call my dad so that he can take me to hospital.. And i kinda forgot what happened now.. but then i had an X-Ray.. it wasn't that big... as the last time.. I had to f***ing wait 4-5 hours just to get the results!! Sorry for the swearing.. They showed me the X-Ray, and i went all red but not really surprised.. just shocked and shitting myself yeah.... They told me that i had to go to Padua thats where i was last time.. its a place for kids lets just say that its 17 and below.. They gave me oxygen mask because it wasn't a big one they didn't do the operation, Once's again.. it was really boring in there but as before the nurses knew me and said "What you doing here again? Bet you just came here cause you love it here" They really made the stay better! Then after 2-3 days i had an X-Ray and saw that it was worse .. but wasn't that bad.. but still.. Then I needed to put a tube in.. So i went to the operation room.. I was shocked that they didn't have to make me go to sleep.. because they said it won't take a long time... So they started cutting the left side.. they put something thats like it won't be a lot of pain.. But first when it was about to start.. Cause 2 nurses wanted to come and check the operation they gave me a "Wheres wally" book and the nurse was holding my hand i felt sorry for her because i was squeezing her hand.. So the doctor was cutting a line so they can put the tube inside me OMG... It was so much pain.. i mean the cutting was nothing compared to when the tube went to my lungs.. I couldnt breath.. i was coughing no stop.. but they said its normal.. and its nothing to worry about.. just if i continue to cough the nurses said if i wanted a oxygen mask i nodded because i couldnt talk, it was like i just got stabbed in the heart... and then i was calming down.. they told me to cough more so i did but it was hurting so much!! My mum was there but she didn't want to watch, Cause this was like late in the night i just wanted to go to sleep but when you have that freaking tube.. its like impossible to sleep, plus the nurses will always come and do check ups... Lets skip 2 days.. As normal i was playing my IPad.. Just watching Videos chatting with friends.. Yes my family and friends did come to visit.. but mainly it was my dad and mum because one of them had to look after me.. they took turns, Then after 2 days they did another X-Ray alright sweet, it was improving, had to stay there like 1 week and 3 days i would say.. as this was in January and now its June i forgot some of the things.. but most i didn't forget! Then the specialist came and checked up on me and saying again why its happening again.. then 2 more days they came again and they saw the X-Ray i recently did and they were happy to remove the tube.. As that removing the tube will Bloody hurt! Then when it was time to remove it the nurses came as well the ones that saw me when i needed the operation.. Then yeah.. they removed it.. then they requested a appointment, it seemed all fine the lungs back up! then next day i will get discharged as that the discharge letter takes time lmao... Then after all that i got to go HOME!! As before Missed home, Family, Friends.. Missed a lot of school lmao once again, plus 1 week off school because wasn't stable enough to go.. Then again i wasn't allowed to play football for a certain time.. Then had an appointment up in kings hospital again in london.. to see the specialists, once we got up there we obviously was talking about why this keeps on happening and as this is the 2nd time this has happened the chances of happening again is very very possible.. so they set a appointment so they can do an operation and fix my lungs so it doesn't happen again.. But they never called us back.. we called them but the doctor wasn't there.. So we just left it.. and waited for them to call.. (18-19th April 2016) I was at School in maths.. suddenly again there was it.. the back pains.. the chest pains started AGAIN!!! then again i went to the nurses room and said that my chest was hurting and then she said who do you want me to call? "The Ambulance or your parents?" i said the ambulance as that this was so painful.. Lmao after the ambulance came one of the women knew who i was because she was the person who came last time to do the check up on me lmao.. she instantly knew who i was.. then i was rushed into hospital, and i was needed a X-Ray.. And my friend saw the ambulance and she told me that she knew it was me.. as that i just left the room well i told the teacher.. Then when i was done with the X-Ray i had to go to the emergency where all the paramedic are and stuff... then they saw the X-Ray and it wasn't even that big.. it was tiny.. i was surprised cause the pain was so bad.. and painful.. I had to stay in the hospital for 1 week! Because they had to choose if i needed a tube or not.. i had them oxygen things where you need to put it in your nose... annoyed me because my nose kept on going dry! Then i saw the same nurses again they were surprised to see me again.. i responded "I just love this hospital" with a giggle lmao.. So after the 1 week doing nothing.. it was really boring.. just on iPad, reading books.. my family will come and visit swell!.. Then after 1 week i had to go to Kings Hospital.. So they took me there.. In the Ambulance.. From where i live to London its like 1 Hour and 36 Minutes.. I live in Folkestone.. But in an Ambulance its shorter... When i arrived at the hospital luckily i got a bed.. because in the hospital where i would go theres not a lot of beds and a lot of beds would be full.. So then it was Wednesday and the operation was in Thursday.. Then the doctor came and said what he would do in the operation and said 80% that i will not catch a infection.. Then the day when i needed the operation.. Not going to lie i was really scared, but the nurses and my parents were looking after me and the best they can do.. Then when it was the operation, i was in this room naked! but lmao obviously i was wearing them dresses.. And i didn't even notice anything when i woke up my mouth was dry.. i had a lot of pain.. they gave me water because i didn't have any drinks for a long period.. and my throat was dry asf.. Yeah when i woke up omg.. the feeling of the lungs stuck to my ribs were the worse pain ever and i dont want anything worse then that! Then after that i stayed in there for 1 hour until i went to the room.. I had to walk to the toilet with a tube it was really painful .. but i need to learn to walk because it hurts yes because of that tube! Had to stay there for 1 week swell ;/ my mum was there my dad visited sometimes.. as that its long from folkestone to London.. When i was there i really missed my team when the second time it happened they gave me a get well soon and £80 Sorry if i skip alot of things that happened.. So yeah lemme skip it cause of the day is kinda boring.. All i did was read Diary of a wimpy kid and Watch videos! So yeah then after nearly 1 week i had another X-Ray to see if everything is good.. and yeah when they saw it, it was all good and wanted to remove the tube.. But i had a bad Blister there omg it was so big.. next to the tube.. Then they wanted to take the tube off it was one of the worse pains as i already told you guys.. the doctor was like hold your breath.. and try not to breath in for a couple of second while he was taking the tube out.. i was sweating so much.. oh my god.. So yeah then after that i was requested to go to another chest X-Ray and see the results ALL GOOD! they now wanted to discharge me home.. but had to stay one more day.. then after that i was packing everything and getting ready.. for my dad to come and pick us up! Then when we was going back home i was really breathless, pain was there, when i breath it hurts.. but its normal.. And they wanted to see me again in 6th june.. i got discharged like in May.. So it was April 18 or 19th to May 2nd or 3rd dont know.. And Monday 6th June 2016, Thats when the school started again from 1 week holiday.. so i missed out.. So i went to kings the appointment was at 4 and we arrived there at 2:45 lmaoo, so we just went around london but stayed near the hospital.. we went to Nando's The chicken lush !.. Then we went back to kings at like 3:40 then waited until my name was called out but at 3:40 they asked me to go to X-Ray area.. so they can see my lungs.. Then i went back and waited 10minutes the specialist called my name and we was talking about how i was and how I'm doing.. then he showed us the X-Rays and how they have improved.. Then explained that when the lungs try to collapse it won't because its stuck to the ribs.. but then got worried.. when he said in 1-2 year you might have the same problem but to your right lungs... but its 80% not gonna happen.. Please dont let it happen lmao.. Sorry i been gone for so long, and thanks for reading if ya have sorry if i made any mistakes its like 1am right now and I'm tired asf MISSED YOU ALL some of the doctors were so fit.. What???? Shhh
