It still works but the max. amount you should type in is 999 cause if you type in 9999 game will crash also don´t use the call for 5 star survivors (15 phones) just use the normal one otherwise game will reload -

I hacked Gold and Supplies got it on 99999 i made some upgrades but after some minutes the game reloaded maybe there is a way to avoid this -
