In the update they added in the app description itself that older devices like iPad mini is not supported. edit: You might wanna try, removing the game and hack (ccleaner the plist too).

I think the game is using too much resources than what the iPad mini can handle, ergo crash.

There are missions where the boss becomes invincible if they dont move, making it impossible to finish. would be nice to separate the switches for dont attack and dont move

I think the permissions of the binary should be set to (777) read, write, execute.
