Just like the way you uninstalled I file. Find the dependency names from the debs on the first post.

That might be your problem. You need to uninstall iFile and all it's dependancies from Cydia and install the debs on the first post.

Have you installed any other versions of ifile from Cydia before?

Strange. The iFile on BigBoss crashed for me this worked fine. Uninstall it and reinstall it again. Maybe pet permissions to 755 on the iFile.app folder also?

Use this at your own risk. Some members complained they get stuck in a boot loop and some don't. Make a backup just in case. Also, enabling passcode lock might get you stuck in a boot loop also.
