I've had a similar problem before. Except my whole Hard Drive was broken. I couldn't even format it if I wanted tyo. All data lost Try scanning it with some HDD tools and programs. I don't remember any but Google search?

So this new update renders Save File cheats unusable...

You still have that issue with hacks installed? Try disabling some features of that hack.

Set Permissions to 777 on the hacked files if it does that.

Have you tried playing with the Save Game while offline? Does the App allow you to play offline?
