TuT [Tutorial] How to Perform a Binary Patch / How to Thin your Binary

So IOS Terminal crashes on launch every time I try to launch it. I have reinstalled all the PAM tweaks and such, even went as far as trying to SSH form my laptop to complete this hack. Unfortunately SSHing into the phone did not give me access to the sualpinecd command to even start the very beginning. If someone has some information as to how I can repair IOS Terminal or has another method for doing this, please let me know!

On iOS 9, there isn't a working terminal. You'll need to SSH to your device.

Install openssh and putty in your laptop or computer

I was able to use putty but on the final direction with thinning the binary with (for exmaple) "lipo filename -thin armv7 -o newfilename" i am getting an error that says it needs to be a fat file when -thin option is specified

Yeah I tried, but none of the commands would work using that method unfortunately.

Hey man iOS Terminal doesn't support iOS 9.0.2 so i downloaded prompt2 as an alternative but then it doesn't let me run commands like, "sualpinecd /var/mobileldid -s lipo". Tbh i don't even know what im doing and can't get pass that step lmao.

If you are using putty 

type this

If you are using iOS terminal 

type this
