Need a bit of advice for a video card, actually, own an Nvidia GTX 1060 OC 3g.

Thinking about replacing it. For max 200EUR there is a better card? I mean at the test, in-game and better than the actual one.

@absoluT1on Idk what you could do to go against the 1060 3gb for £200. My guess is if you wanted even the smallest bit of a performance boost the RX 580 (or 590 if you can find it for a good price) is your best bet.

but I personally think you should stick with your 1060 3gb as £200 is too small of a budget to one up it. maybe get the 6gb version and sell your 3gb one for an upgrade?

Yeah, I thought might be something better for that budget. Means I still own a good video card even if I bought it a few years ago. Thanks for all the info.

I do want to specify that my card is a Gigabyte so i see its on top.

oof you dont use xmp? or does your motherboard not support it or something?

Also your 1060 got a near average score so you could try overclocking it yourself using MSI afterburner (instead of using the factory overclock that the gigabyte cards have) to improve your core and memory clocks by a couple hundred.

Usually if your card lets you and you do it well, you can get around a 5-15% average fps increase in games

dont really give that importance to that xmp sh!t or ram,it affects it so hard??? mean the gaming

usage of pc normal dont see any issues at hardware ram point........

na ram doesn't really affect gaming but overclocking your gpu will definitely help

yeah,using msi afterburner always ,core clock can be overclocked for +20-+30 ,more it crashes ,but yeah its a good improvement.

in the test i did not used afterburner

I've got one recently, but it was 250. If you're willing to pay that much, then sure. However I think that you need to double check if your monitor is not overclocked. I believe that you should know how to do this. And if you don't then google it, there are many guidelines that explicitly show all steps that need to be undertaken. https://www.xbitlabs.com/how-to-overclock-monitor/ this is an example of how to do it. Don't rush to pay for a new computer, maybe your computer just needs to be refreshed. Best of luck!
