Generator "Glitch" anyone?

So i got this generator done before chopper (unlocked all blueprint helps a lot), but when i pick the generator, it won't let me put it down.

Instead, a new generator is dropped, while the old one is still on hand. It will drop a new set of generator upon pressing "drop icon".

And i haven't found any way to get out of this problem, even if i restart the game, it will still on "holding generator" state, but without generator visible on hand, and walking/running speed is just as you hold a generator.

Using non jailbroken one, so i don't think there's a way to disable the hack temporarily.

Anyone tried to put down generator on the chopper? perhaps it will work. But how can you put it down on site (where it should required)?

Anyone got this glitch? I believe it's because of unlimited consumables? CMIIW

This is interesting to hear actually. I have started writing a guide and this is the only question I either haven't figured out myself yet or been told by others on how to fix. 

For reference. For the mod menu people it is a simple case of turning off infinite consumables hack and then dropping the items. These duplications also works with the infected box and the rusty engine so don't pick those up yet either. I'm sure we can all figure this out.

I started from scratch when i found this, because my previous gamecenter account is stuck upon loading several versions ago (unreleased item craft i believe), and i'm too lazy to make another apple id, so i played this new update without any linked account.

After that, i know that this new save is glitched and no new to fix yet, so i just try to connect to my old gamecenter, and surprisingly it loaded well.

For this linked account, i already have chopper, finished expanding (using generator), so there's no reason to craft another one.

But i found infected box inside a forest, and accidently picked that one.. yes, lol.. i know..

Drop it in chopper's baggage box, and it worked, i got my normal state again. But since i have no acid bath completed yet, i won't pick that box from my chopper until we found something to fix for non JB version

I started on the non jailbreak a couple of updates ago and what I did to empty my inbox should work with this situation as well. I saved my last day files via Filza (I was not using Game Center at the time) deleted the hacked last day app and downloaded the one from the App Store. Put my backed up files back in and when I started the game I could do everything as normal, no hack. In my case I could delete inbox items. I don’t see why it wouldn’t work for putting something down. Then go in reverse to get the hack back. Sounds like a long process but it is not that bad. Hope this helps someone. P.s. I used Cydia impactor to sideload filza.

Sorry, i don't think this is the matter of emptying inbox.

Have you encounter generator quest? you will need it to enable watchtower and expand your map.

This glitch is this generator thing (also infected box). When you take it by hand, it won't be inside inbox or your bag, you will take the generator (or the box) by hand, and walk very slow until you put down the generator.

In this case, i cannot put down the generator or infected box. It will drop another generator, and the original one still on hand, repeatedly. But i can put it in my chopper baggage box, and that's all.

I think it only happen for non JB, because for JB version you can disable/enable hack anytime

This is about stopping the hack so you can not duplicate your generator or infected box. 

The  non JB is a different beast because you can’t toggle hacks. 

 

More to the point. You need to backup your data. Delete the hacked game, install vanilla (non hacked) game. 

Put your backed up data into the new game directory. You will be where you are now with no hack. Then you can drop the generator. Make sure it saves, back up data again, delete vanilla game. Install hacked game transfer saved data. And you should be back in business. This is the only way I know, maybe someone else has a better solution.

I think i have to agree to this solution for now.

It's the most logical thing so far. Hassle, but doable.

Game center sync (auto) -> delete hacked game -> install vanilla game -> game center restore -> drop the generator at where it should be -> game center sync (auto) -> delete vanilla game -> install hacked game -> game center restore

Damn it's a long way just to put generator down.. lol..

But seriously, it all make sense to me.. Thanks
