Its kinda just a BS reason because really anything else iOS related stopped working would fit in that.

Great, they should display this message before giving root permissions then allow you to do it. You just know that they will not support anything on it.

Just like on Mac, you can enter a command in the recovery partition and then you have root access, why not just let us do the same, its no different. Even Android is the same.
