The best way to get the gas tank is to collect 30 red tickets, to actually open the red crate. Once you've opened it, if you do not get a gas tank then immediately exit the application, force close it and delete your data. If you're on an apple device, then you need to jailbreak it to get access to your LDoE directory, where you can then find the data and delete it. Repeat this until you get the gas tank.

ONLY DELETE your local data IF your account is synced up with either Google Play or your Apple Game Center.

Tell me more about this way to delete data? Does it recluse the chest and bunker so you don’t have to wait 2 days? 

Oh and I got mine from the crates took 300 for the gas tank. About 50 for the forks. Have seen them in the bunker chest once each after about 20 or so runs. Opened over 2000 suppression crates and still no mini gun.

Well, you have local data stored on your device which only syncs up to the server if you have your account connected (which is why you shouldn't delete your data if you don't have it linked). Certain actions cause this sync such as: Entering zones, leaving zones, clicking revive once dead. So the way the data erase works is, you enter the bunker with 30 red tickets ( from here the data is synced and backed up to the server ). When you go over to open the red crate it comes out, this does not toggle a cloud sync. If you delete your local data and download your synced data you will be put back to the start where you had JUST arrived at the bunker with your 30 red tickets. Each time you open any of the crates it is always random, unlike the packs you buy from the store. It is a different method to do it based on your devices Operating System.

Please bare in mind this was as of 1.8.7. A few hours ago they released their new 1.9 patch. This can contain hidden hotfixes and patches. Hence why you should never cheat on a new update until tested. 

Clear data trick will not get you banned though, as stated in the official discord. Although if it's patched, which is unlikely given how this save system actually works ( and they'd have to totally redesign it which could take months ) the worst case would be that you just open the box like usual.

Do not forget. The game writes data locally, stores it on YOUR device. Certain actions cause save sync unless your account is not connected to the cloud. In which case, it's ONLY stored locally so don't delete it unless you have personally backed it up and know what you are doing.

Can u explain more for the ios device how that works cause idont know what app do i use to go to the data for LDOE if u can tell me it will be good,thanks

I don't use iOS, so I can't tell you what app to use - but it's fairly obvious with some google searching.
