Try using AppAdmin to downgrade to 1.5.4

What version of the game are you running?  You need v1.5.4 to use this.

My non-jailbroken device experienced this. As long as you have linked your account to Facebook, delete the app from your device, then reinstall, relogin with facebook and it should work again. That's what worked for me.

On latest version 1.6.0 it works great. But I wanted to downgrade to 1.5.4 so I could use the hack

Yup, just got updated to v1.6.  Now the game bugs me to update every time.  Hopefully he can find some time soon.  This game is a crazy grind without free energy and the bugs are plentiful in this old version.
