What firmware are you on? 

8.3     I stupidly forgot my own password for my phone does that happen to anyone? I changed it probably 2 hours before attempting to go back to my phone and got locked out. Only way to fix it was to restore it. I was on 8.1 jailbroken, but you're not supposed to "reset" the iPhone through iCloud or through the device because it will hang at the apple boot logo. So I am now, using a normal, plain old iPhone 6 with no more game mods or tweaks  Life is rough when your iPhone isn't jailbroken
