    I'n not referring to save-game mods—I'm talking about modding the config files that the game downloads upon launching. Similar to Family Guy, or Futurama.  

    I'm also not saying to use an old version, but the current version 1.1.1 has already been modded elsewhere. Could be a helpful roadmap.
