You can also use other apps by searching 'Get Followers' on the App Store, they may look like a different app like an analysis app but they are usually actually follower apps.

You can find other apps I used here.

Tried it out and it wouldn't let me use it unless I updated the app. When I pressed the update now button, it sent me to the appstore and said that the app was not available in my country or region.

You can use a backgrounder tweak that will run apps in the background as if they are running with you looking at them. Because the old one I used to use is outdated (Watchdog) for iOS 12 you can use 'BackgrounderAction for CCSupport' from 'https://akusio.github.io/'.

You will need to enable the backgrounder tweak then click Go to App Store then the message won't reappear upon entering the application again.

Alternatively if you know how to use Flex you can search for "Update Alert" or "Did Enter Background" or "AppDelegate".

I think the app is dead. But it would be nice for an alternative that still works.

I think it slowly died over time as they no longer had apps on the App Store so there was only existing users.

Try just search for "Get Instagram Followers" on the App Store and try out those apps, some might be not as effective as others so you gotta try them out.
