Oh damn, if ur device is supported tho and it breaks it you could always use tool to remove the jailbreak and get a new device from Apple. (that prolly isn't jailbreakable yet)

That would really suck. That's why I'm looking for an 8+ on 11.1 ASAP. I like my home button.

I don't think that matters. Aslong as the 11.2 or whatever is the latest iOS 11 version has the same SEP as the 11.1.2, you'll be able to update just fine. If apple out of nowhere, chances the SEP (which I thought I read somewhere, they never did --> iOS 10.0 till iOS 10.3.3 had the same SEP etc) then it will break it.
