I’m in the same boat. Weird that they would just blatantly ignore all of these -40 error issues. I think there is some funny business going on with this imazing app. Dude was just like “oh well just edit the files themselves inside the backup, & then restore from that backup using imazing” (adlib) well, guess what? You can’t do that on the free version. Im pissed I wasted 3 hours of my day trying to surprise my son with Hill Climb 2 coins. Officially done with this shady BS

hey, i am having issues with literally the last step of this. i'm restoring the app data for Kim Kardashian: Hollywood and after i selected the file it says 'app store has not been acquired by apple id [my apple id]  iMazing can only download apps which you have already purchased or acquired by the app store. You can also try to sign in with another apple id.'

is it just me or imazing keeps backing up the app data to the location that I dont want?
