Tutorial [New 2024] Install Theos on Windows 10/11 (Subsystem for Linux)

Hi. I tried to compile a open sourced project, but I got this error:

I tried it with cygwin and now with ubuntu subsystem.

What can I do?

Seems like you’re missing ldid. Look that up on GitHub, there’s one for Windows/Theos. Although I never got that error myself.

i got this error i think the link is not working @Klepto

Search the filename on Google and you can find an alternative download link.

They may have removed this version because a new version was released perhaps.

@DiDA the hack is worked after install http://iphonedevwiki.net/index.php/Ldid

git clone git://git.saurik.com/ldid.git
cd ldid
git submodule update --init
./make.sh
cp -f ./ldid $THEOS/bin/ldid

Note: i copied ldid manual

I'm getting this error when I run make package:
