The certificate expiration is easily fixed by using https://jbme.qwertyoruiop.com/.  Still using that here on 9.3.3 JailBreak.

You don't even need to pay money.

You can just go back in time to a day when the certificate wasn't expired and it will work.

If it restarts instead of jail breaking you may need to go back in time again.

After you have jailbroken you can just reset your time.
