gfxCardStatus is an unobtrusive menu bar app for OS X that allows MacBook Pro users to see which apps are affecting their battery life sort by which are the more power-hungry graphics.

 

Features:

  • Growl or Notification Center notifications when the GPU usage changes.
  • The Dependencies list: Open the gfxCardStatus menu when your discrete GPU is active to see what is using it.
  • Manually switch to Integrated Only or Discrete Only mode to force one GPU on or the other.

You made the text colour white so I couldn't see some of the text. You should have set it to automatic so it automatically changes for the white and black theme.

I fixed it for you though.
