So, I just wanted to test and render a 16K resolution image...

The image above is only 4k since Imgur couldn't handle the 300MB of 16K (+16bit/channel depth).

https://www.sendspace.com/file/2des31

This is the 16K image ^

Rendered with DoF, AO, glow, reflectance, luminance, in about 2.5h.

Rendered on my CPU (i7-7700K) , not GPU (GTX Geforce 1080 Ti).

Rendering took about 2.5H, with DoF, AO, glow, reflectance, luminance, etc.

Wish I rendered something better looking though.

Confused why youre not rendering with Physical if you have a 1080ti...

I don't know how to render with GPU on Cinema 4D, all I know is that there's a paid plugin called "Octane"... :/

I don't know how to change render engine or anything <_<

Is it faster? Or?

Ok, I know how to change, but, why would I?

What are the pros?

Is it not slower?

Does it use GPU? Reading online, it seems it uses CPU.

Physical uses GPU. Also with Physical you can reduce your render times by a lot; If anything don't research online. Goto GSG (GreyScaleGorilla). That's where the pros are at. Anyways you should've done a 16l blob render. Your blob animation was amazing. Keep up the good work!
