exactly! this is what i do, i turn on VPN & load NBA app, load a game, while the game is loading i turn off VPN. Once the game picks up a good signal wifi the quality gets better!! aslong as u dont exit the app u can jump from games to games with out VPN.

Please tell me how can I pay these 18$? I created an apple ID for India AppStore but when I try to subscribe to LP and I fill in the data of my credit card I get the message "Your payment method is not valid in this Store". Thank you

Guf15, technically you just need to create the Apple ID to download the international version of NBA app. From there you would use some type of VPN (many different companies out there). There is NordVPN with a 3 day trial. Once you get VPN, you will connect to India server. When it’s connected you would go to NBA.com and then league pass to purchase it for the year for (I believe) 999 rupees (Indian currency). There may be a promo code that drops it a few bucks but it’s cheap as it is.

One thing to note is that NONE of the apps (iPad & android) are functioning properly. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. (More so towards the doesn’t).

But you have a computer or laptop that can connect to your tv, then it works all of the time. Just make sure you connect to Indian VPN server and once you are watching a game, you ca disconnect the VPN.

Hopefully this helps you and makes some sense.

Exactly, VPN is what affect the price but not the appstore, so get a vpn
I also experience problem for those app, sometime I got "Watch Now" option when I click into a game but sometime it showed a "Buy subscription" button.
But once I click the buy subscription button, it showed I have purchased my LP

NBA web is completely working on the other hand......so, if the app isnt working, only thing can do is to watch it on a computer.
Still...better than looking for streaming link that r not stable and quality isnt that good

Hope NBA can fix the app ASAP or someone can share a solution to the app problem please

Using the info taken from here and elsewhere, I was able to get NBA LP working on my iPhone X--I used a free VPN web plugin to connect to an India VPN using Firefox on my PC, then opened the NBA web page to purchase LP for 999 rupees ($15 USD). I then installed the latest NBA app version 71019 using my UK iTunes account, then on my phone I opened Safari and went here https://v1c.me/index.php to download/install the India VPN mobileconfig profile to my phone.

I opened the NBA app on my phone, logged in with my LP credentials I created during the LP purchase process, then exited the NBA app (did a force quit here to make sure it's not running in the background). I then turned on VPN, making sure that I selected the India VPN config before doing so, then opened the NBA app again.

Now here is the tricky part--wait for the NBA app splash screen to disappear, then enable Airplane mode on your phone; go back to the NBA app and wait for the message to appear at the top of the app screen that says you're offline--once you see that message, go back and disable Airplane mode. At this point you may or may not need to go into iOS Settings to turn off VPN--on my jailbroken iDevices running iOS 9, VPN automatically disconnected once I took the iDevice out of Airplane mode, but on my iPhone X I had to go into Settings and manually turn it off; this latter part probably applies to any iDevice running iOS 11. In any case, once I did all that I could then watch all live and archived games without the need to be on VPN--however, NBA TV will not work with VPN off.

Total cost to me--$15 for LP for the 2017-18 season; I didn't even need to install a VPN subscription or client (free or paid) on my phone--just an India VPN mobileconfig file is all that's needed for the VPN part. No BS--I watched both the live 11/4 Grizzlies/Clippers game and the archived 11/2 Warriors/Spurs game on my iPhone X this way. Some of you folks may be a bit hesitant on installing an unsigned VPN mobileconfig file to your phone, but just keep in mind that you need VPN on only long enough for the NBA app to load, then once it's done loading you can turn VPN off.

Joeblow blows the roof out with his instructions. Thanks for this. Me, i have my ways how I'm watching my NBA on my devices using NBA LP. But I also have thought in buying this Indian LP. My problem with it is indian VPN is hit or miss with NBA LP. But I have tried the profile Joeblow supplied and it worked with the international LP i'm using right now by plainly turning it on and off no airplane mode needed. But this needs to be observed for few days. But $15 dollars and small vpn trick, ain't a bad deal.

Have you ever been shown "Buy subscription" when you click into a game? and it shown you are subscripted when you click that button. Or I should ask whether you can successfully watch the game at anytime you use your method? As I dont really mind turning on VPN throughout watching, only concern me is whether I can watch the game

Here's my setup,
iPad without any VPN + iPhone with VPN
whenever I can watch on my iPhone, i can watch on my iPad as well. But it shouldnt be the case as my ipad didnt have any vpn installed.

I was wondering is the app have some kind of log that keep your ip when login and it might be rewrite after some period of time.

Thank you Jcboiz! I solved the problem. I had already used an India VPN, I had already downloaded the NBA app form India AppStore but the problem was that I was trying to get the LP subscription directly from NBA app and Apple does not let you pay using Paypal. I read what you wrote and I purchased LP directly from www.nba.com using India VPN. Thank you!
