Help/Support Non-Tethered jailbreak no longer working after restart.

After reinstalling everything through Impactor, and followed step by step, still came out with a no go I deleted my original PP Pangu JB app, and a new one popped up, gave it the trust in settings, and selected the 7 day cert, still no luck yet

Did you try the reset network settings?

I would just keep trying with the app, and changing between having it plugged in to power when you hit the button to start jailbreaking, and then unplugging as you hit lock, and vice versa, and trying to vary how long you wait to hit the lock button after hitting the button to start the jailbreak.

And sorry I forgot to mention having app in BG when you power down..

I did try the network reset, what does BG mean? I'll check out that link now, if BG is mentioned there you don't have to explain it ? Thanks again man

Sadly, after hours and hours of working on this today, i still have not found a solution.

Heres where i'm at from square one.

I have deleted my Chinese version of Pangu's jailbreak app (PP)

I went to Pangu's website and downloaded the 9.3.3 jailbreak .ipa

Installed Itunes, and Impactor

plugged my phone into my computer and found my iphone

dragged the said .IPA into the inpact screen and there the Pangu english version was on my homescreen of my phone.

before beginning, I powered down my phone for 20-30 seconds, and restarted with the VolUp/PB trick you mentioned above.

released power button at apple screen, and released VolUp at lock screen

Gave trust to the Pangu app and ran the application

allowed push notifications for that application and hit run

Following that, a notification told me the jailbreak was a success and I was awaiting the automatic respring

however, this is where the issue begins.

After waiting a few moments, my screen sat on the apple logo screen, flashing black exactly as stated before.

after about 4 min of this, my screen finally loaded to my lock screen however the jailbreak was not initiated and Cydia was not able to run on my phone

I have tried mutiple different ways of having my phone plugged in, and unplugged as you stated that i should try, as well as implimenting other suggestions the website, and yourself had givin me, however still nothing is coming up for me that will work

Do you suggest I just keep on trying both the browser link and the Pangu app and just hope it will eventually work?

Yeah sounds like you are doing everything that should eventually work. It's a pain but eventually you should be able to get it.

Sounds like you're following the suggestions correctly.. I know that's what worked for me when i was flipping out I couldn't rejailbreak with my 9.3.3 6s+. Good luck, hope it works soon. Don't give up.

Whelp, this is where im at, still consistantly trying to fix this issue, and tonight, since my last post, I was able to go into Substrate mode which was the volup/power button, and my phone was jailbroken using the english version IPA of Pangu, However, none of my tweaks worked, it only allowed me to open Cydia, and after restarting my phone to do a normal jailbreak install, it got me back to square one...

any further suggestions from this point if I can have my phone in substrate mode, and I CAN use Cydia>?

Edit: Actually sounds like u are in safe mode. Just Respring device and all should hopefully be well. Open terminal and after entering password, type "killall -9 SpringBoard" And hit enter. That'll Respring. B4 respringing tho try uninstalling unneeded or potentially conflicting tweaks. Something is causing SB to crash.

Safe mode is designed to make ur tweaks stop working so you can fix conflicts.

sadly, i can't get myself back into the mode i was just talking about, it worked that one time, out of literally the past 100+ attempts lol

I will post again when something happens positivly, and I can once again open Cydia and I wont do the dumb move of restarting my phone

Yeah Respring as much as you want, don't reboot once you're jailbroken.

Also I was thinking, if you were in safe mode something caused SpringBoard to crash, most likely conflicting tweaks. I'd uninstall some of your recently installed tweaks or any you aren't 100% sure work with your firmware.

(That is once you get back in.)
