Help/Support Non-Tethered jailbreak no longer working after restart.

Hey guys, I'm using an iPhone 6s+ running iOS 9.3.3

I used the Pangu* jailbreak and it has been working with very few flaws for about 6 months now.

My current issue is after a hard restart of my phone (power/home button restart) my phone goes into normal operating, then I click on the jailbreak icon and follow the usual steps

.click icon.click big circle with Chinese writing.wait for my phone to restart.jailbroken.

however, for the last week, it restarts as it should, but it either gets stuck on the apple logo screen and freezes, or the jailbreak activation was unsuccessful.

anybody have this issue before? If so, what did you do to resolve?

I do not have access to a computer to re-jailbreak completely.

Well i had an issue were it wouldnt open since it ran out today, bur dunno if that was a one off or not

Dang, what do you suggest my next steps would be?

I checked out their website, and had seen some things about certificates being expired, and to use their impactor. Is this the route to take?

also used their in-browser on phone jailbreak and that didn't work as well

There's a jailbreakme website for the Pangu 9.3.3 jailbreak set up by Luca Todesco, the co-inventor of the Yalu jailbreak.. Go to this link. Make sure passcode / touch id and find my iphone are all off.. No need for computer.

Thank you for your reply, however, it is still not working yet after trying multiple times a day for a while.

I do have a surface pro with me, do you think I would be able to use that?

If so, what do I need to do?

rejailbreak, updates or anything?

Since I am on 9.3.3, I was wondering if I could jailbreak to a better IOS version then just completely rejailbreak without losing my things. I know some tweaks are working only on 9.3.3.

There's a glitch with the 9.3.3 jailbreak where sometimes after a reboot it won't re-jailbreak.. A couple things that may work- (I just had this problem and it took me 20 times to rejailbreak.)

1.) Hold down power button and turn off device. Leave off for about 20 seconds. Then hold down power and volume up button at same time until apple icon appears, then release power but keep volume (up button) held down till you get to the lockscreen, then let go there.. Again make sure passcode and find my iphone are off.. Go to jbme website and try again. Repeat a few times if it doesn't work.

2.) Sometimes playing with the power charger makes a difference. Start with it unplugged, then plug in right when the jailbreak tool tells you to go to lockscreen.. Also try vice versa. Have it plugged in, and disconnect when you are prompted to lock your phone.. Repeat a few times if necessary..

Youll know it worked if you see a "memory almost full" alert right before it resprings.

Its real annoying I know but with patience that website (or the app) should do it for you, if you try those two methods above.

You could download the PP Jailbreak app from official pangu website, and side load it onto your phone using cydia impactor. However my recent experience showed that didn't work any better. I just kept trying both until one worked, and it was the website that worked.

Heres the website to download the app with your computer tho. It's worth a shot. With the app, play around with how long you wait before locking it, from like 1-5 seconds after hitting "go" or the big circle in the middle.

No problem.. It really sux when it happens, but luckily it's not often.. Occasionally the device will just decide to reboot.. I learned those tips from a reddit post when I was having trouble b4.. Hopefully you will get it sorted soon.

Edit: Just read you had app on device already. If certificate recently expired you don't always need to redownload it. You can change the date back in your settings to a date when the certificate was working.. If it was revoked for "untrustworthy developer" though you'll need to delete and reinstall with impactor.
