PC Is this laptop good enough for my needs?

I'm always on the move so I need something portable to play games on.. This guy is selling me his Acer Aspire V3571G for $350 aud

SPECS down below

8 GB RAM, NVIDIA GEFORCE 640M, 1TB HARDDRIVE.

Was wondering if the laptop will run games like minecraft, csgo, combatarms and gta v smoothly on low settings ?

What's the CPU? I can't really think of performances without the CPU.

nearly any pc will run minecraft not sure about the other games

It should be able to run Minecraft smoothly, just like KFCzZz said. CS:GO, due to GPU, I'm pretty sure it'll run smoothly on med-high settings. Combat Arms, I'm sure it will run smoothly because of it's not-so heavy graphical demanding. It's a pretty good laptop, but your GPU is a bit of a bottleneck for your CPU.

Thanks for the quote! Really helped me out since I was having second thoughts about this laptop. Oh yeah I edited my post ... I included GTA V reckon that won't run properly ? Lol

I'm not sure about that. Maybe 30 fps on medium? You can always check benchmarks on YouTube. i7 is amazing, but that 640M is a huge letdown I believe.

 

That i7 could be useful for example, rendering in Cinema 4D, Blender, Adobe programs, and such.

Haha when your laptop have a 1TB hardrive and cost $350 and mine cost $700 and only 400 GB lol
