Tutorial How to fix CPLoader error 10

Figured this out during school today in 3rd period

 

So the new online CPLoader kept detecting my dylib as fat even though I triple checked the Makefile to make sure that I wasn't compiling for arm64. To make sure that I wasn't crazy, I ran otool -vf on my dylib and sure enough, the dylib was fat and I was like wtf is going on??

 

Then I figured out how to fix it:

 

1. In terminal, go to where your dylib is located.

2. Run this command, replace "arch" with your desired dylib architecture (armv7 or arm64), replace input with your dylib name, replace output with your desired thinned dylib name.

lipo -thin arch input -o output

3. Profit

 

now you can use CPLoader 8.6 without any problems @@DiDA @@caoyin

You can also use the Binary Tools "Thin Binary" option too.

so where we earlier used ARCH = armv7 arm64 we now use armv7/arm64 alone?

doesn't matter now because you're thinning it anyway

what if we hack both armv7 and arm64 portions of a game? We cant use cploader then?

Well if you provide an armv7 binary of the game for autolipo there's no need to include arm64 offsets.

Dont take it like im arguing, but some games crash if you remove arm64. Need to hack both parts then
