Tutorial How to change the root password if you forgot what it was

Everyone forgets something once in a while. But it sucks if it is important information, such as the root password of your iDevice.

In this tutorial I will show you how to reset your password.

 

✻ Requirements

✔ iFile / Filza / any other method of accessing the file system

✔ access to the standard Unix DES-based encryption algorithm (e. g. the PHP crypt() function or a website which offers this service)
