Let's say I don't want to go through the extra work of making the hack autolipo and I want to make it ARM64 only. Would I just not thin the binary? All I would have to do is crack the binary and upload it to the 64 bit version of IDA?

Yeah, load ARM64 in IDA. Not ARMv7.

Alright thanks, by the way, why's the difference between 32 bit Ida and 64 bit ida? Is it talking about your computer or your idevice? I heard someone say idevice.

You can't load arm64 on a 32bit IDA

makes sense now. So I load arm64 on 64 and arm7 on 32?

Yep.

Or you can load armv7 on the 64.

64 is better since you can load both.

Nah, you can load armv7 on 64 also. I use x64 for everything because it's better or something like that

makes sense :> its because I was thinking of just hacking the 64 bit portion of the binary to make things simpler but apparently in 64 bit theres like x1 x2 x3 and stuff and I don't know what it means lol.
