I know what the error is, it's the damn quotation marks which are weirdly bent and non-ASCII but I'm new to Mac and can't figure out how to stop them from becoming like that? Any ideas?

Solved by editing the file using Xcode instead of TextEdit.

Right-Click the file -> Open With -> Other... -> Select Xcode

SO dumb , just realized i didnt install xcode . 5GB of an development app doesnt look right for me

and I dont think I can make it a portable app :shrug:

Textedit likes to use weird quotation marks. And welcome to the mac world IDA on mac > IDA on winders
