Help/Support Compiling error using Mac theos

Yea, dpkg no longer allows lzma (as xz is much better), but that's an issue since cydia still depends on lzma
So you need to downgrade dpkg to allow lzma, which you can do by running the following code;

brew remove dpkg
cd /usr/local/Homebrew/Library/Taps/homebrew/homebrew-core
git checkout 7a4dabf
HOMEBREW_NO_AUTO_UPDATE=1 brew install dpkg
git checkout master
brew pin dpkg

when i did

i get error:

 

error: pathspec '7a4dabf' did not match any file(s) known to git.

nevermind. I just had to do git fetch --unshallow
