Shall I just charge it from my laptop, see if that works. If not, restore it via iTunes?

You can try but you'll regret losing your jailbreak over this. The battery thing happens to be too and I didn't drop my phone or anything :p

Costly , and for Apple to even look at it you need to remove the JB

That's all they will blame it on regardless of the incident , they will do some tests get it to boot then they will update it to iOS 10 to try and resolve the issue.

If that don't work depending on the device and the available support they will start replacing parts and you're bill gets higher and higher.

Bonus is if they don't think you're to blame you will receive a brand new iPhone.

It has scratches & small ass dents around the iPhone though lmao.

Yeah ofc I'll remove the JB before then ahah.

It says it's charging but it doesn't do shit...

I unplug it & then after like 1 minute, it dies or restarts itself (if whilst charging)..

Oh I see, then you don't have the same problem as me. Is it an original apple charger?

Ware and tear is accepted to a degree , if it's bad then no but if the damage don't consist with the fault then you might be in luck , all you can do is try , it takes a while Apple ain't quick but if it can be fixed they will do it.

Don't think that's a problem, but I'll use the official one to see if that'll make a difference.

I'm using a POLAROID charger from Asda lol.

Have been for a few weeks now & it's not caused any problems.

Check inside the charger port , see if anything is stuck in there , use the SIM card pin to get to the bottom and have a little scrape about , not to rough just enough to see if oat falls out.
