How key would that be?

Depends on several things. Like for me, I'm planning for animations and what not, so the extra power can be nice. And I would like to enter the VR realm as well later on next year. You don't need a 1080 and an i7 for gaming. Not at all. That would only increase your fps by like 10-20, which at above 140, you won't really notice a difference. But if you can afford it, then why the hell not. Prolong the need for having to upgrade your pc in the next few years. But if you dont even want VR, then the 1070 will be just fine for all your gaming needs.

Unless they release the 1070ti version, which would be lit

put some liquid cooling then you be set, you can play 24/7 all day long unless a power outage then nvm

and back friday is around the corner near thanksgiving, buy it later, be way cheaper
