First I wouldn't use the GTX 970 because you can only use 3,5 of that 4GB VRAM. I don't know if 500W power supply unit is enough, I recommend 650W. i5 is good enough and often better than a i7

Just want to play high end games

The i5 will be enough. If you can save up a bit more, you can even make a GTX 1070 build and you'll pull even more performance. Both of my friends have 1070 builds and they get 140 fps on Overwatch in max settings

So relaxe with 1070?

Or if you can really wait, save up like 500 more and get a full out 1080/ i7 build and really be ready for VR. Which is the route i'm taking in the next few months.
