For some reasons I dont have any Cydia icon after doing the instructed methods (both Safari-only and iTunes methods).

I know it doesn't say this works with an iPod 5th Gen, but has can anybody confirm that it actually doesn't work? Ive been looking to JB my iPod for a while, it is currently on 8.4 (i can update iot if i want to), and would like to know if I actually can do it before I upgrade. If not, I can stay on 8.4 and continue to try and JB.

 

P.S. Ive tried several times to JB my ipod but each time ive failed. Could someone provide steps or a tutorial on how to do this (if of course the OP's JB method doesnt work)?

Took me two times when I tried to test this. I feel like it'll be a hit and miss and will cause a lot of headaches for users lol.

 

From what I did after a reboot, you basically do the same steps again that you jail broke. So you have to tap the blue circle in the Pangu app. Lock the device. And it should do its thing and reboot. If it fails (like it did for me 1x) just repeat the step again and it will eventually respring itself with a fully jail broken device with all tweaks in tact again

Yeah I repeated all those steps prior to posting at least a dozen times lol but the 13th or 14th time it loaded correctly lol

I am having trouble with cydia. Whenever I launch Cydia, it goes black then crashes. Any help?
