I used to have a pretty basic understanding of it but I've sorta fell off that train not really my area

I find Illustrator to be extremely useful when creating my designs. It is simply amazing.

I sketch out my design first on a piece of paper, and then I take a picture of it with my iPhone and send it to my PC.

After that, I duplicate the design onto Illustrator and work with an analogous color scheme

 

I use Adobe Photoshop from time to time, but only to enhance the visual effects of my images.
